Jenny, a Beach school alumni and parent, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club about the challenge of getting the school board to listen to their pleas to clean out the school after the hurricane. A ribbon-cutting to reopen the historical section of the building was held earlier this month and the kids are back in their school now.
