The Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis Club donated $10,000 to Golisano Children’s Hospital-Barbara’s Friends/Kimmie’s Angels for kids with cancer. This is part of the FMB Kiwanis Club’s commitment to the children’s hospital, and is this club’s top priority.

This check was presented at the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce Luncheon at Charlies Boathouse Restaurant last month.

The Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis Club was established in 1968, and is currently recruiting new individual and corporate members through the Chamber of Commerce. This club owns and operates the Kiwanis Thrift Store at the corner of Summerlin and Pine Ridge Roads. Club members volunteer at the Thrift shop and serve on the Board as well as committees including membership, scholarships, sponsored youth, young children priority 1, and community services. To volunteer at the Thrift Shop, contact Pattie Brembly at 239 454-8090.

The next club meeting will be via Zoom Thursday Feb 18 at 5:30 p.m. Contact Paula McCarthy for a Zoom invitation.
