Since Kathy Delbalzo and Paula Smith appeared on Beach Talk Radio last Saturday, the angel ornaments have been flying off the tree. More ornaments were ordered this week and should be in today. Here’s how you can help…
The Fort Myers Beach Library and the Estero Island Garden Club are co-sponsoring the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. The program helps kids in our area who will not be receiving gifts for Christmas. Each ornament on the Angel Tree is a story about someone who’s Christmas all of us can make brighter.
Anyone who would like to make a child’s Christmas brighter can either visit the library and take an Angel ornament off the tree on the 3rd floor or call the Library at 765-8162 and request an angel.Â
The fabulous staff at the Library will be happy to pull an ornament from the tree, gather your contact information to log the ornament out to you, and read you the gift suggestions for the Angel. You would then need to drop off the unwrapped gift you purchased to the Library by December 1. Â
