Latino History at The Mound House

Today at 2PM and tomorrow at 10AM, The Mound House is offering an outside tour about the Cuban-Muscogee fishing camp and the Cuban fishing industry in Spanish Florida.

Explore the archaeology and history of the site and what clues archaeologists and historians uncovered about this multicultural society.

The Latino fishing village, known as a rancho, existed on the shell mound between the ancient Calusa and Anglo-Pioneer eras.
