LCSO Trying to Determine Who Dead Woman Is

The Lee County Sheriff’s Department is still trying to determine the identity of the female a hiker found in the water at the Matanzas Pass Preserve Monday morning.

LCSO is analyzing the woman’s fingerprints at this time. Deputies returned to the scene on Tuesday to continue their investigation.

According to LCSO the autopsy showed no signs of trauma or foul play. The tell us toxicology results could take several weeks or even months.
