St. Raphael’s Episcopal Church invites the community to begin the Lenten season with a traditional Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, February 18 at noon at the church at 5607 Williams Drive.
The service will include prayers, Holy Eucharist, and the Imposition of Ashes, marking the beginning of Lent — a sacred season of reflection, repentance, and spiritual renewal leading to Easter.
For those who are unable to attend the noon service, St. Raphael’s will also offer “Ashes to Go” beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Tripower Realty. This convenient option allows individuals to receive ashes and a brief prayer while on their way home from work, running errands, or during a lunch break.
Ash Wednesday is a meaningful tradition in the Christian faith, reminding us of our humanity and our need for God’s grace. All are welcome to participate.
