Fire Chief Scott Wirth is a guest speaker at the next Let’s Go FMB meeting this Thursday at 4PM in the DiamondHead Resort ballroom.
Also, Richard Lee from United Florida will give the group a 20-minute presentation on the opportunities for town residents under the Unite Florida – SHRC Sheltering at Home for Recovery Continuation Program. Lee will have a team of people with him who will help with applications for services should any residents qualify.
I wasn’t living on FMB at the time it incorporated but am understanding part of the reasoning was due to tax revenue only trickling back to FMB and heavy handed control of theLee County government. Residents and property owners voted for “government light” to run the towns business. What happened to that?
