Tunaskin Beach Cleanup is This Sunday

Tunaskin is sponsoring a cleanup on Fort Myers Beach Sunday, February 5th. It’s the 8th Annual Tunaskin Beach Keepers Club Clean Up. Proceeds will go to Keep Lee County Beautiful. This cleanup will have 2 check-in locations.

All attendees will need to pre-register and select a location when registering HERE.

Each location is limited to 150 participants and you must check in at the location you registered for.

Tunaskin Fort Myers Beach | 1300 Estero Blvd.
Free parking will be available at Norm’s Beach Parking from 8AM-11AM. Paid parking for any time following 11AM.

Santini Plaza | 7205 Estero Blvd.
Parking is available in the plaza. Beach Access will be marked to make your way to the beach.

Keep Lee County Beautiful will be passing out pickers and clean up supplies at both locations. You’re also welcome to bring your own gloves, buckets and shovels.

  1. Tuna Skin has always done a great job with these beach and island cleanups, as has Beach Talk Radio. The beach is looking so much better. My question is will there be any sidewalk clean ups planed. I’m riding my bike to get around while we are down to one vehicle and many places are impassable, particularly the area with no bike lane between Time Square and Red Coconut. Our roads have so much more heavy equipment traffic now that riding the street is not a great option.
