Last Saturday, The Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation held its 2026 pickleball tournament at Bay Oaks. There were 24 players in the morning and 12 in the afternoon sessions.
Over $4,000 was raised and all proceeds will go to FMB in scholarships or grants.
The tournament winners were:
Morning:
1st place: Theresa McGaffe and Shelly Hobson
2nd place: Patti Maio and Maureen Wegenek
3rd place: Drew Macci and Denise Landes
Afternoon:
1st place: Dan Richarson and Bruce Noggle
2nd place: Paul Orlando and Michelle Cherney
3rd place: Jennifer Weigers and Bob Fennessey
