The Fort Myers Beach Fishing Pier at Lynn Hall Memorial Park, which has been closed since August 16th, is expected to re-open today. The pier work took one week longer than expected due to delays caused by all the rain we’ve had recently.
The concrete deck is resurfaced about every 10 to 15 years. The work is funded through the Tourist Development Tax, which is assessed on short-term lodging.
