Since 1980, the popular restaurant Plaka was located in Times Square before Hurricane Ian came though and destroyed the building. The restaurant will not be returning to Times Square, the property is now for sale.
The Plaka on Wheels Food Truck will be at The Whale tent on Fort Myers Beach on Wednesday May 1st all day. Then, on July 3rd, the Plaka on Wheels food truck will be at Sandy Bottom (the old Tuckaway Cafe location). It’s expected The Whale will be under construction by July.
