The event draws over 300 “golfers” and hundreds of spectators to the center of Fort Myers Beach, while promoting 9 non-profit organizations and supporting local bars and restaurants for a full day of putt-putt golf and outdoor excitement.

Registration is from 10 am – 12pm at Shuckers.  Enjoy a Special Putt & Pub Breakfast special with $3 Mimosa and $3 Bloody Mary specials to start tor day.

The King Foundation is sponsoring the event this year. Alex and Nina King and the King Family Foundation are celebrating over 60 years of King family presence on Fort Myers Beach.  Alex King said, “We want to give back to all those who have made the Beach a place enjoyed by not only our family, but the thousands of guests and residents we see each year. We are Sponsoring the Fort Myers Beach Women’s Club Putt & Pub because we feel that they are the BRIDGE to so many organizations and causes who give back to our island.”

Each year, 9 local non-profit groups and 9 area bars and restaurants, create a min“golf course” throughout the North end of the island at participating restaurants and bars.

Teams of 4 come in costume to compete for prizes…and to have a great day eating and drinking at the beach.

“Each hole is manned by a participating non-profit organization and features drinks specials, games, and other fundraising opportunities, stated Dawn Thomas, this year’s co-chair. “In the end, proceeds from the Putt & Pub Crawl are divided between the participating non-profit groups. This year, we will conclude our event at the “Margaritaville and Shipwreck “19th Hole” party, where guests celebrate with a dinner and the award ceremony.”
