The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Jacki Liszak, The Southwest Florida Gator Club and the University of Florida College of Health & Human Performance will host the “HHP on the Move: Dean’s National Roadshow” Tuesday, June 9th at Margaritaville.
The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will welcome alumni, community leaders, supporters, and guests for an evening highlighting the future of Health & Human Performance at the University of Florida and across the state of Florida.
The program will feature Dean Michael Reid alongside faculty guest Dr. Scott Nestler, Professor of Practice in the Department of Sport Management and Director of the UF Sports Analytics Laboratory. Dr. Nestler’s work focuses on using sports analytics and data-driven research to enhance performance and decision-making through applied, real-world projects.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow Gators and community members while learning more about the innovative programs and initiatives taking place within UF’s College of Health & Human Performance. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided.
“We are excited to welcome leaders from the University of Florida to Southwest Florida and Fort Myers Beach,” organizers said. “This event is a unique opportunity for alumni and community members to engage directly with UF leadership and hear firsthand about the exciting future of Health & Human Performance.”
