The 10th annual “Ding” Darling & Doc Ford’s Tarpon Tournament was held on May 13th with over $60,000 in cash prizes handed out to the anglers, including $27,000 to the first place team (pictured here) of Team Blackwater.
Team Blackater is made up of Captain Henry Frazer (center), Matt Herald (right), and Scott Hughes (left). This was their third year they participated in the tournament.
The10th anniversary tournament’s sponsorships and donations went to support conservation at the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge. Since the tournament began 10 years ago total earnings for the tournament has topped $1 million.
