240 golfers converged on Fort Myers Beach Saturday, January 15th, for the 11th Annual Fort Myers Beach Putt & Pub. Hosted by the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club, 9 non-profit organizations on the island paired with 9 local restaurants to create the community golf course.

Teams arrived in full costume and enjoyed a day of golf and good times. Tourists, locals and beach goers joined in the fun to make this one of the most successful Putt & Pub, yet.

Woman’s Club member Dawn Thomas said this year the organization was fortunate to have generous sponsors who really backed the event. “Our non-profits and partnering restaurants really stepped up and made it a great year. Between our sponsorships, registration and business partnerships, we raised more than $30,000 for local non-profits. I also want to thank all the great golfers who came out to play and the volunteers who aided in another successful event! We can’t wait for 2023.”

Nervous Nellie’s was voted best designed hole for 2022. Friends of The Arts was the local organization stationed at Nervous Nellie’s.

The King Foundation was one of the corporate sponsors of the event.
