Like every other business on Fort Myers Beach, The Beach Bar, located right on the sand at 1668 I Street, was smashed to pieces by Hurricane Ian. Tomorrow The Beach Bar reopens and they are ready to once again put smiles on the faces of locals and visitors alike.

Beach Bar General Manager Matt Faller says his team is “committed to maintaining their culture of Walk in as friends – dance out as family

Matt says they’ll be serving their classic menu out of a concession trailer. “The drinks are ice cold and you can sit right in the sand. We’re waiting on brand new seating so right now you can bring your own beach chairs and find a spot in the yard.”

The beer menu includes Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Lite, Yuengling, Michelob Ultra, and their staple Busch Light. They also have craft beer including Fort Myers Brewing High 5 IPA, Kona Big Wave, Stella, and Pacifico. They will also be serving up NUTRL vodka sodas flavored Pineapple and Watermelon and Copa Wines in Pinot Grigio and Cabernet.

Live music also returns to The Beach Bar tomorrow. Classically a Blues Rock Venue, they are sticking to their roots. They will be bringing back local favorites Josh Rowand, “The Pitbull of Blues,” Frank Bang, Rex Bongo, and others. Music will be a 4-day a week schedule to start; Thursday through Sunday, with plans to expand from there.

The Beach Bar merchandise is available online HERE. Merchandise will be available at the bar in the next few weeks.

NOTE: Matt will be on Beach Talk Radio Friday night at 5:00 during our Happy Show at Mango Rita’s. Former Shuckers/Cottage Bar Manager Brian Nagle is our 5:30 guest.
