It’s the 11th year for the Putt & Pub, held by The Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club. This year the most popular sporting event on the beach will be held Saturday, January 16th. The event draws over 300 “golfers” and hundreds of spectators to the center of Fort Myers Beach, while promoting 9 non-profit organizations and supporting local bars and restaurants for a full day of putt-putt golf and outdoor excitement.

What is the Putt & Pub?
The Putt & Pub is hosted by the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club, a non-profit organization whose mission is to support all area non-profit organizations through events and fundraisers.  Each year, 9 local non-profit groups and 9 area bars and restaurants, create a championship “golf course” throughout the North end of the island.  Teams of 4 come in costume to compete for one of the many coveted prizes…and to have a great day eating and drinking at the beach.

“Each hole is manned by a participating non-profit organization and features drinks specials, games, and other fundraising opportunities, stated Dawn Thomas, this year’s co-chair.  “In the end, all proceeds from the Putt & Pub Crawl are divided between the participating non-profit groups. The event ends with a dinner and award ceremony in the center of downtown.”  The event is held outdoors and will follow all COVID guidelines.
