OMG Stop it Steve. You clearly have a problem with Atterholt. There are thousands of us that follow this forum and we DO want to hear what Atterholt has to share with us. I appreciate having different town council members on each week instead of having Allers week after week saying the same things over and over and over. We don’t learn anything from him because he has nothing new to say. AND if you want to talk about someone bloviating for 10 minutes about a topic, it’s Allers. That is why Ed has to guide Allers along or he would talk for 60 min about sand or about turtle lights.
OMG carol, stop it. You obviously have a problem with Allers. Apparently the vast majority of us full-time residents who vote do not, as he was the clear majority winner in the last election.
Steve I am a full-time homeowner and I voted for Allers the first time but not the second. He is unqualified and his management skills are just not there. It is common knowledge that people vote for name recognition and everyone knows Allers because Ed has given him a platform every week which is exactly why he won. You lash out at Atterholt if his name is even mentioned. Go take the time to look at Atterholt’s resume/experience and then look at Allers. There is no comparison. I wonder how many people even have a clue of Atterholts’ credentials/experience.
I am very aware of his credentials, and have met the man through the former chair of the Indiana Republican committee. I voted for him twice, but he sold out the full-time residence and keeps talking nonsense about wanting to resolve the traffic issues while approving developments that double the density and are contrary what the majority of the long time full-time Fort Myers Beach residents want. I was hoping for better from him.
Steve are you a homeowner? You always use the term “resident”…… Just curious. Atterholt is the only council member that has executive branch of the US Gov, Presidential level and has a Top Secret clearance. BTW You didn’t review Allers credentials. Let’s review his.
Yes, Carol. I am a homeowner and also former owner (pre-Ian) of a vacation rental house. Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed frequently.
Well Ed, you will ask one question and get an hour long response. All he ever does is restate the same thing a different way 10 times. He’s the reason the town council meetings take so long.
