The Town’s Big Celebration is Today

And the Estero Island Historic Society will celebrate the town’s 30th Anniversary by sharing the story of how Fort Myers Beach developed since the first homesteaders settled in the late 1800’s.

The town’s historians will be at the event to answer questions about the island’s past and have great Fort Myers Beach memorabilia available, including; Jessie’s Sign Poster, Lost Icon Books, Afghans, and personalized mugs.

The event begins at 2PM at Bayside Park and continues to Times Square with speakers at 3PM. The speakers will be Mayor Dan Allers, Town Manager Will McKannay and County Representative Brian Hamman.

Beach Talk Radio will be there to carry the event live.
