Thursday at 5PM is the deadline to submit vote-by-mail and provisional ballot signature cures. Under Florida law, voters have an opportunity to cure signature deficiencies on vote-by-mail and provisional ballots.
Voters who received notice of a signature deficiency have until the deadline to submit the required signature cure affidavit, along with a copy of an acceptable form of identification.
The signed affidavit and a copy of the voter’s identification may be returned in person to any Lee County Elections office or by mail, email or fax.
