On Tuesday Americans will celebrate National Voter Registration Day with a massive cross-country effort to register voters ahead of the midterm elections. The Lee County Elections Office is partnering with Lee County libraries to celebrate this civic holiday. The Elections Office will engage the community and register voters at libraries throughout the county.

Eligible individuals may also register to vote or update their voter registration information online at www.lee.vote or all offices of the Lee County Supervisor of Elections from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Founded in 2012, National Voter Registration Day is designed to create an annual moment when the country focuses on registering Americans to exercise their right to vote. Nearly 4.5 million Americans have registered to vote on the holiday since the inaugural National Voter Registration Day.
