The Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation lost all of its towels due to Hurricane Ian and would greatly appreciate donations of any size and shape. The towels are used to cover buckets that are used to hold and protect hatchlings.
The SCCF team has also recently responded to a few live strandings of sea turtles, which require wet towels during transport.
