Join SCCF’s Coastal Wildlife Biologists and Sanibel Sea School’s Educators for a rare Experience—witnessing sea turtle hatchlings begin their journey to the ocean.
Each session starts with a 20–30 minute educational program at Sanibel Sea School, where participants will learn about sea turtle biology, conservation efforts, and the significance of a hatchling release. Then, we’ll travel together to a nearby beach to observe as hatchlings make their way to the Gulf under the cover of darkness.
Led by trained staff and biologists, this small-group experience ensures a respectful, quiet, and controlled environment for the safety of the turtles and the enjoyment of attendees.
Note: No flash photography or lights allowed during release.
