If you haven’t yet seen the Red, Blue, Green exhibit at the National Shell Museum on Sanibel you have until June 5th. The exhibit is a visual introduction to the water quality dynamics of our region, including harmful algal blooms, management of water flow, the relationship of water quality to the local economy, impacts on wildlife, and organizations working for improvement and change.

The exhibit, produced in partnership by Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum, SCCF, and The News-Press, features compelling images, maps, timelines, and other formats to illustrate phenomena such as red tide and blue-green algae. Research into how red tides impact sea turtles is also highlighted.
