Fort Myers Beach finally had its first turtle hatchling of the season late last week. Turtle Time reports that 75 hatchlings out of 78 eggs made it to the water successfully. The nest was located in the CWA just south of the Wyndham resort.
As of last week Fort Myers Beach was just over 100 nests on Fort Myers Beach.
