(By Kim Ryan) Sate Insurance USA held their new office ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday evening. The office, at 100 Lovers Lane, was filled to capacity at the event. Chamber members, local residents and other Fort Myers Beach businesses all came out to wish them well.
Those in attendance enjoyed a nice spread of hors d’oeuvres, including cookies and margarita’s. The spectacular views from the office are truly representative of the new location’s name as State Insurance USA- Coastal Division.
This is the fourth office for State Insurance USA. When asked how they came to find this amazing spot Agency Relations Manager Gail Langner said they’ve been searching for an office that suit their needs on the beach for over 5 years. “Even though clients almost never walk-in anymore, they still wanted us there and we want to be there to service them.”
It was at a Fort Myers Beach Chamber Coffee Connection a few months ago that Beth Coon, another agency relations manager, and Gail sat with Erin Beasley from Access Title. Beasley said she moved to the 3rd floor at the Lovers Lane location and had an office they weren’t using. Gail says she asked if they’d consider subletting the office and after working with their Chicago owner and the building owner, “Voila, we finally had our home.”
