Thousands of people attended the 2026 Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club St. Patrick’s Day Parade and after-party last Saturday. A total of $60,000 was raised and once the final bills are paid, the balance will go toward the new building.
This was the second year the Woman’s Club organized the parade with members Deb Nelson and Barb Mezeske leading the effort, along with a huge team of volunteers.
Alex King Foundation was the Grand Marshall of the parade and one of the big sponsors.
The parade began at Santini Plaza, included 40 participants, and ended at the Woman’s Club property on Sterling Avenue. The big after party included 2 live bands, plenty of green beer and several delicious food trucks.
