The two-day event held at The Women’s Club on Sterling Avenue included a Christmas tree and wreath auction, a raffle for great prizes, a chili- tasting contest and a holiday vendor market and bake sale.

The money raised from the event goes directly to support area nonprofits.

Fort Myers Beach resident Eddie Rood purchased two trees at the festival.

Woman’s Club Committee member Megan Allers said “The FMBWC Tree Festival Committee would like to thank all of our non profits that submitted trees and wreaths, along with gift wall donors, vendor market participants, and chili cookers. We appreciate everyone that took time to come out to the event and support our community. This year’s festival raised record numbers for the non profits, and for the first time ever, we even had 2 BUY NOW purchasers donate their trees back so bidding could continue for those causes! I’m blown away by this year’s success and how our island comes together! Save the date! Next year’s tree festival will be December 9th and 10th! So we hope the non profits start brainstorming for 2022, and those chili cookers start saving those recipes.”

2021 was the 4th year for the event.
