During our walkaround on Estero Boulevard last Saturday we stopped by Casa Playa (510 Estero) and noticed they had new windows and doors installed and wondered what their opening status was.
The 35-suite beachfront resort was heavily damaged by Hurricane Ian. Here’s an update.
Owners at the resort tell Beach Talk Radio they are making good progress. “We have beautiful new turtle friendly windows & sliders. Clyde Johnson, our General contractor, is nearing completion & owner renovations will begin in February.”
Several of the owners are working with one of Beach Talk Radio’s sponsors Tri-Town Construction and they are hoping to have a soft opening in early April. They say they are starting to see light at the end of the tunnel.
We loved staying at Casa Playa. We were there twice-a-year for a week or more for many years! We hope they are all able to reopen it’s a great location and wonderful views. Best wishes to all of them.
Great progress going on!!!
