Last month we started an Amazon Wish List for Book Nook owner Annette Stillson who lost all of her books when Hurricane Ian came through her location in Santini Plaza. She is still taking book donations and here’s how you can help…

“I can’t thank you, Kim and your Yellow Army enough for everything you’ve done, not just for me but for Fort Myers Beach in general. Just to let you know I’m well on the way to filling my store. The outpouring of support still leaves me speechless. Every day I have drop offs and mail and messages from all over. As well as books, people have given me small bookshelves and pictures to decorate my store and bookmarks and cards and puzzles to resell. I am so blessed. I’ve added a picture of Amazon wish list books dropped off with donations this weekend. I received a van filled with books from the nice people at LeParc Condos of Naples and a carload from a community in Estero. I have new signed books from best-selling author Brenda Novak and other romance authors. I have been in touch with Sharon at Santini Plaza and they are on the way to rebuilding and I can’t wait till I can reopen a whole new store. ”

You can still help Annette rebuild by sending her a few books from our Amazon Wish List HERE.

  1. I also have two boxes of gently used books I would love to send to you. Would you be able to use these? I was a frequent visitor of FMB and use to live your store 🥰

  2. I will be moving down to FM in early April from Milwaukee. I bought a house in Pelican Preserve. I have a box or so of gently used books you can have. Let me know if this will work for you.
