Town Expands Permitting Hours

This temporary change in hours will start Monday, Jan. 9th and is expected to last through March 29th. Town staff will be available on Town Hall’s temporary complex at 2545 Estero Boulevard which is the property just south of the Town Hall building that was damaged by Hurricane Ian. 

Estero Boulevard Home Sells For $4.8 Million

The 3500 square foot home, damaged by hurricane Ian, was only on the market for 15 days. LEEPA shows the home sold for $2 million back in 2011.

Del Mar Property Sells For $600,000

155 Del Mar sustained a lot of damage from hurricane Ian. The 1,100 square foot home sits on approximately 6,000 square feet and was sold this week for $600,000.

Curfew Hours Reduced Next Week

Starting Monday, January 9th, curfew hours on Fort Myers Beach will be reduced to Midnight to 6 a.m. The curfew is now 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Time is running out for Hurricane Ian survivors to apply for disaster assistance from FEMA. If your primary residence incurred storm-related loss or damage caused by Hurricane Ian you have until Jan. 12, 2023 to fill out an application.
