Building Back Fort Myers Beach

Your New Sand Starts Arriving Today
Starting Monday, the Town of Fort Myers Beach will begin preparing for the emergency berm project by stockpiling sand on the property of the Wyndham Garden Inn at 6890 Estero Boulevard. 100 to 200 trucks will deliver sand every day.
La Ola Owner Was at Scene of Deadly Shooting
Thomas Houghton, who owns La Ola Restaurant on Fort Myers Beach, was in the parking lot of The Restaurant Depot Thursday when gunfire erupted. One person was killed in the shooting.
