The two Fort Myers Beach public hearings on the 2022-2023 budget, which begins on October 1st, will be held Thursday, September 8th at 5:01 p.m. and Thursday, September 22nd at 5:01 p.m.

Beach Building Sells For $4.5 Million

The building that sits on the corner of Times Square at 1028 Fifth street just sold for $4.5 million. The building, which is now home to Coldstone Creamery (800 square feet) and a t-shirt shop (2000 square feet), sold for $625,000 in 2009.

‘Ding’ Darling Photo Contest Opens

Greenwell Hosting Kick-Off Party

Former Boston Red Sox star Mike Greenwell, who lives in Alva, is running for the Lee County Board seat now open after the passing of Commissioner Frank Mann. On July 14th from 5:30-7PM Greenwell is hosting a campaign kick-off celebration at 31 Produce in Alva. Greenwell will be on Beach Talk Radio two days later.
