(By Ed Ryan) FHP continues to search for what they believe to be a white sedan that took the life of 55-year old Mary Reed while she vacationed on Fort Myers Beach last week. We spoke to Reed's sister about how her family and friends are dealing with the tragedy.

(By Lions Club President Drew Yelle) So what can I say about the weekend? Oh man what a roller coaster. All in, it worked out to be a very successful weekend for all involved. If not for the midday weather on Saturday, this may very well have been a record breaker.

You may recall our story from last week about how the town has put a lien on this $4 million home on Terry Persaud's property. Persaud also owns the Sunset Grill, where the town has four code violations accruing fines against him. He cannot sell the home until he addresses the issues at the restaurant.

That person has until April 30th to contact TPI to claim their prize of grand opening night lodging for two including admission to all entertainment and grand opening events.

Fort Myers Beach Firefighter Joel Martinez can really suck down shrimp. Martinez won his third consecutive shrimp eating contest Sunday at the 64th annual Lions Club Shrimp Festival in Lynn Hall Park. He downed 2.8 pounds of cooked and peeled pink gold shrimp.
