With more than 120 tickets sold at $75.00 each, $9,000 in tickets sales alone was raised for the Friends of The Mound House Friday night from its event Artful Intersection. Auction item sales are still being calculated.

Town Takes Steps To Foreclose on Five Properties
The Fort Myers Beach Town Council is fed up with code violators who continuously snub their nose at the rules, ignore code violations, and make money from the properties in violation. As a result the town council has told town attorney John Herin to start the process to foreclose on these five properties.

New Educational Space Coming to DING
Final designs are in the works for a new $1 million-plus project that will greet visitors to the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge with outdoor flex space to be used for educational purposes. The 4,670 square foot space is called "The Roost."
