The Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club will be hosting the 11th Annual Putt & Pub Crawl Saturday, January 15th, 2022 on Fort Myers Beach starting at 10 am. Spots are filling up quickly so do not wait until the last minute to register your team for this fun event.

This is a great month-long fundraiser for the Clinic For The Rehabilitation of Wildlife. The 40th Taste of the Islands kicks off on November 1st and will take place every day in November.

With COVID-19 cases declining every week in Lee County (78 as of today), visitation restrictions have been lifted at all Lee Health Hospitals.

The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce has canceled the 10-day event due to COVID. With the amount of time needed to plan the event and the number of international participants it was decided the event needed to be canceled this year. New Fort Myers Beach Fire Chief Ron Martin will officially be sworn in on Wednesday, October 27th at 5PM at the Fort Myers Beach Library. Martin is replacing Matt Love who accepted a job as Fire Chief in Minnesota. The ceremony is open to the public.
