The Neighborhood Company has been hired to create a rendering design of the future Times Square on Fort Myers Beach. Times Square was demolished by Hurricane Ian on September 28, 2022 and the property owners in that area have been less than aggressive about rebuilding.

Lee County Chooses Pier Designer

On Wednesday the Lee County Procurement Management Department chose international company Stantec Consulting Services to design and permit (not build) the Fort Myers Beach pier. It's the first step in what's expected to be a 4-year process to rebuild the structure.

You Could See New Sand Starting February 1st

The Fort Myers beach Town Council approved $2.7 million from an $8 million Florida Department of Emergency Management grant to begin hauling new sand onto Fort Myers Beach. The project could begin at the end of next week.

Putt & Pub Raises $55,000 For Local Charities

The 12th annual Fort Myers Beach Woman's Club Putt & Pub, held this past Saturday, took in a total of $70,000. After expenses the Woman's Club will be donating $55,000 to Fort Myers Beach nonprofits.
