The Regular Route is Back For July 4th Parade
Late last week Town Manager Andy Hyatt announced that the 4th of July parade route will take the same as it has in past years. Public Works Director Jeff Hague told TDC members earlier in the week that parade would begin at Bowditch Beach Park on the north end of Estero Boulevard.

Join Annie For Easter Sunday Service
Annie Meehan is hosting her 3rd annual Easter Sunrise Service on the beach at Newton Park on Easter Sunday at 6:45AM. Newton Park is located at the 4500 block of Estero Boulevard.
Free Tram Ends April 23rd
Lee County has announced its seasonal transportation schedule which includes ending the tram on Fort Myers Beach Thursday, April 23rd. The tram is free for riders and runs during the beach tourist season. TDC funds cover the cost of the tram.

The Lee County Mosquito Control District is hosting a presentation at the Sanibel Recreation Center Wednesday about pesky no-see-um’s and how to prevent them from biting you. The 5:30-7:00PM presentation will be streamed live on the City of Sanibel Facebook page.
Buffalo Grill Hosting After Hours
The next Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours will be held at Buffalo Grill in Times Square Thursday at 5:30PM. Complimentary appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar. The event is free for Chamber members, $15 for non-members. REGISTER
Beach Renourishment Project Close to Finish Line
The $22 million Fort Myers Beach renourishment project, barring any further equipment failures, will be completely finished by May 31st. When done, 300,000 cubic yards of new sand will sit on Fort Myers Beach
Arches Project Gets Unanimous LPA Approval
One year ago Moss Marina owner Ben Freeland saw the writing on the wall and pulled The Arches redevelopment project before it could be rejected. He went back to the drawing board, hired The Neighborhood Company, knocked off 140 rooms, and got one of two approvals he needs to proceed.
