Island Girl has opened a retail location at 6035 Estero Boulevard which is the Lahana Realty building next to Church of The Ascension. Store hours are 10A-4P Monday through Saturday. Island Girl will continue to operate 2 kiosks at Margaritaville.

LCSO: Golf Cart Crash Caused by Careless Driving

You may recall our earlier report about the May 25th golf cart accident on Estero Boulevard near the Fort Myers Beach Library. The final Lee County Sheriff's report was issued Monday. The report states the accident was a result of careless driving.

Town Approves $85,000 Impact Fee Study

On Monday the Fort Myers Beach Town Council approved a contract with Axis Infrastructure to produce an impact fee study. There are a minimum of 9 development projects either in front of now, or will be coming in front of the LPA, in the coming months.

Council to Hear Myerside Pitch

On Monday the Fort Myers Beach Town Council will hold the first of two public hearings to consider the new Myerside Resort. The 49-unit boutique hotel would be built on Estero Boulevard next to the Library. Last month the LPA, in a unanimous vote, approved the project.
