Nearly $11,000 was raised at the second annual PTO Cornhole Tournament this past Saturday at DiamondHead Resort. 100% of the funds raised go to the Fort Myers Beach Elementary PTO.

New Town Hall Trailers Set to Open

As of this Friday at 5:30pm, the town hall trailers at 2545 Estero Boulevard (the former Topps location) will no longer be in use. The new Town Hall Trailers, at 2731 Oak Street (Bay Oaks), will open at 7:30AM Monday, March 4.

Hibiscus Resident Wants LPA Spot

Debbie Szekely has applied for the open seat on the Local Planning Agency. Szekely lives on Hibiscus and has been on the island since 2020. She becomes the third resident hoping to fill Scott Safford's seat. Safford was recently appointed to the Town Council.

March Fundraiser For The Kids Set

On Saturday, March 16th, The Beach Kids Foundation is partnering with The Whale on Fort Myers Beach for a Pre-St. Paddy's Day benefit featuring the Irish band The Celtic Stew. Come out to The Whale tent at 1249 Estero Blvd for $6 green tea shots, 50-50 raffles, and food trucks.

London Bay Submits Outrigger Property Plans

The next step has been taken for a new proposed development on the former Outrigger property that was purchased by London Bay last year. London Bay has submitted plans to town staff for review. It will be months of back-and-forth before the project gets anywhere near an LPA agenda.
