Where To Park For The Beach Cleanup Today
The first volunteer beach cleanup is being held this morning from 8AM to 11AM. Volunteers are meeting in Norms Beach Parking Lot on Estero Boulevard where there will be free parking. There will also be free parking in the Sunset Grill parking lot.
FEMA Extends 100% Reimbursement For 15 Days
Fort Myers Beach and other municipalities across Lee County have until December 7th to receive 100 percent reimbursement from FEMA for debris pickup. If you've been on Fort Myers Beach recently you know that the debris cleanup will take a lot longer.

FEMA Extends Deadline For Disaster Assistance
On Monday, FEMA announced that Hurricane Ian survivors who suffered damage to their property have additional time to apply for federal disaster assistance, with the application deadline extended to Jan. 12, 2023.
