Mermaid Fest 2020, which is produced by Blue Ribbon Events, will be held at Lovers Key today through Sunday. The first large-scale event since before COVID features local not for profits with a mission to educate and share their love for saving our oceans and local wildlife. The event will be presented in a safe socially distanced atmosphere. Danielle Lynch from Blue Ribbon will be on Beach Talk Radio this Saturday with tons of giveaways.
Sign up for MERMAID FEST’s best dressed mermaid contest being held at 3pm on Saturday, November 7. There will be cash prizes. Best dressed Mermaid, Merman and merkid categories. Don’t have a costume? Be sure to stop by the face painting and glitter tent to get your mermaid on.
Glass blowers, potters, jewelers, fiber artists, photographers, lamp makers and so many other intriguing mediums will be on display. Nationally acclaimed, award winning artists and local crafters will display, sell, engage and educate patrons from 10am to 5pm daily.
