  1. It is clear that commenters here don’t understand that because of sunshine laws, the council members cannot comment on active topics coming before the Town Council. Sunshine Laws are very specific.

  2. Just watched the interview. No answers to yours or Kim’s questions. “Wishy-washy” at best. If he is representative of ppl in our government, no wonder we have issues on FMB that aren’t getting resolved.

  3. This isn’t Lee County, so I would think the rules for chicken could be found in the rules on file for FMB. Not sure what those rules say, but I would be interested to know.

    • Well we are in Lee County but I think FMB probably has their own rules. That is why people were asking. I looked it up and it is true that 4 hens are allowed per 800 sq ft lot. No roosters and they have to have a coop that has to be maintained. They can’t just roam around the neighborhood. I read this last weekend that they are wanting farmers to now vaccinate all the hens. 100 million healthy hens were culled to “avoid bird flu” so that is why our eggs are so high. I don’t want to have hens because of money, I want them because then you can have healthy /antibiotic/vax free hens.

  4. He reminds me of Dan. Never gives a straight answer. You did a great job of trying to keep him on toppic. BTW no one was asking if Roosters are allowed on FMB, the question is are hens allowed. The rule in Lee County is no roosters but 4 hens per 800st ft. are allowed. So his answer was wrong when he said roosters are allowed, they are not allowed. But are hens allowed??
