Fort Myers Beach Fire Chief Ron Martin says the minor structure fire at 121 Crescent street took place shortly after midnight this morning. There were no injuries.
Martin says the initial responding Fort Myers Beach Fore Department crews acted quickly and saved the structure, and surrounding structures by quickly extinguishing the fire.
The occupants are displaced this morning only because of utility service interruption due to the fire.
The Fire was ruled accidental, due to an electrical origin.
Iona McGregor and Lee County EMS were also part of the response.
