The Fort Myers Beach Art Association presents Essence of Water, a special exhibition exploring the beauty, movement, and meaning of water through a diverse collection of original artwork.
On display from July 22 through September 5, the exhibit features paintings and mixed-media works created by FMBAA member artists in watercolor, acrylic, oil, collage, and multimedia.
Visitors will discover everything from realistic coastal scenes to contemporary abstract works that capture water’s ever-changing nature. All works are originals painted by local artists, and are available for sale. The gallery also has a large selection of unique greeting cards created by the artists. Every Saturday at 11 a.m. the gallery offers a free artist talk, check the website for details.
The FMBAA Gallery is located at 13451 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers in the Cypress Square Shopping Center, next to Prawnbrokers and near Blu Sushi and Bellini’s restaurants.
