67 non-resident annual parking passes were sold on the first day the Town of Fort Myers Beach made them available. That’s $20,100 in instant revenue for the town. This is the first time the town has offered these $300 passes to non-residents. Residents pay $75.
The town made 100 non-residential parking passes available andplans to evaluate how those 100 passes impact parking conditions on the island. After that evaluation the town will decide when or if another 100 will be sold.
The town council approved up to 500 non-residential parking passes when the budget was approved earlier this month. The town has announced that fewer than 500 might be offered for sale.
Each non-residential pass costs $300. To purchase the passesm you must go to Town Hall in person so your license and registration can be verified. And, you can not have any outstanding parking violations with the town.
Kudos to town staff for making the process easy and quick for everyone waiting and thank you to the Bay Oaks staff for letting everyone inside at 7AM to avoid the mosquitos.
If you purchase the non-resident pass it is good until the end of 2027 so you are getting an extra 3 months.

Will you be selling the 33 from the original 100.
I would like to purchase one.
