If you are unable to make it to Fort Myers Beach Saturday, or you’re up north and you just want to see what’s happening on “your” island, Beach Talk Radio will broadcast both the parade and fireworks live. Here are all the details and links to watch…
The parade down Estero Boulevard begins at 10AM. The parade route continues across the base of the bridge toward the Times Square area where it will conclude. We will be set up for our broadcast on the front lawn of The Whale. We’ll have free frisbees for the first 200 kids that come over to our tent. Set up your chairs early in our general area. As we do every year, we’ll be playing music and entertaining the crowd until the floats start gliding by. We will start the 10AM event with the playing – and singing – of our National Anthem.
The fireworks are expected to begin around 9PM. Our perch to broadcast the fireworks for you will be on the terrace at Margaritaville. It’s one of the best seats on the island for the show. Starting at 7PM on the terrace, Margaritaville will have Pure Country playing on the Sunset Terrace License to Chill stage. They will pause for the fireworks and continue after.

hey that last sentence meant where would be without you and Kim
Thank you Ed for always being here for us on our island. For all your broadcasting, for weekly updates that we need to know about,
for your generosity with individual needs, for making every holiday so successful, and now for the many flags you just gave me for Castle Beach. Where would we be with you and Kim!!!
See you then.
Thank you for broadcasting both of these great events, especially for us up north, as you said. Although it is actually going to be hotter here in Central Ohio this weekend than on The Island, lol. Have happy and safe holiday!!
