Idyll Construction is planning two new modular home “sets” Tuesday and Thursday. A “set” is when a trailer delivers the home, a crane lifts it off the trailer, and Idly employees set it into place.
On Tuesday Idyll will be setting a home at 702 Estero Blvd. Expect the first sections to rise about 11AM and the set to finish around 1PM. On Thursday another home will be set at 628 Estero Blvd. This one will start at 10AM and finish by noon.
Both of these homes are for long time island residents. They asked Idyll Construction to rebuild new storm resistant replicas of their pre Ian homes.
If you’d like to watch the homes arrive and get set, parking is available at 683 Estero where Idyll will soon be starting work on the Flamingo’s resort.
