The final weekend of the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest is this weekend with performers flocking to Fort Myers Beach. Singer-songwriters from Nashville will be performing Friday through Sunday at the following locations…
Nervous Nellie’s, Cabanas, Matanzas, Pierside Grill, The Pink Shell and Yukatan.
The event, which runs for 10 days and includes downtown Fort Myers and Captiva, draws some of country music’s greatest singer-songwriters from Nashville. Over 80 artists perform over 100 shows, most of which are free and in small, intimate venues.
Every year Nervous Nellie’s rents Bayside Park for their three days. Nervous Nellie’s will have a an outdoor bar and stage set up on their property. Their event will run on September 24th from 6 pm- 10 pm, September 25th from noon until 10 pm and September 26th from noon until 5 pm. Beach Talk Radio will be broadcasting live from 1PM to 2PM Saturday afternoon. Nervous Nellie’s has been part of the event since 2014.
