La Ola Fundraiser Hauls in Over $16,000

And that money will be donated to the Fort Myers Beach Elementary School. The event was sponsored by Leadership Lee County’s Class of 2023. They chose the Beach School to donate the money to from their annual service project.

A total of $16,438 was raised for the school from gift baskets donated for the event that also included a silent auction. In addition to the money raised, two carloads of supplies were also donated to the school. Dr. Kohler told Beach Talk Radio News, “A very special thank you to Leadership Lee and all the sponsors for last night’s amazing event. When a community comes together, great things happen. FMBE is truly grateful.”
